Boarding Schools Back in Vogue

A link from the Daily Telegraph Education section, telling us what we already knew, that boarding is back ‘in vogue’, especially with the rise of flexi-boarding  for 16-18 year olds, who use boarding as an opportunity to bridge the gap between home and university life.  Did you know that Scarborough College offers flexi-boarding for students and parents who wish for their child to spend occasional nights or weeks (10 per term allowed) in the boarding house?  The benefits can be enormous for both children and parents, as children learn independence and to live with others and get structured prep time and parents can get a well-earned break, safe in the knowledge that their child is safe.
